Woman who threatened girl, 5, with scissors jailed

A woman who threatened a 5-year-old girl with scissors has been sentenced to jail time after pleading guilty to the charges of assault and child endangerment.

The incident occurred last month when the woman, identified as Jane Doe, entered the young girl’s home and brandished a pair of scissors, threatening to harm her if she did not comply with her demands. The girl’s parents were not at home at the time of the incident.

Fortunately, the girl was able to escape and seek help from a neighbor, who called the police. Doe was arrested shortly after and has since been held in custody.

During her trial, Doe admitted to her actions and expressed remorse for her behavior. The judge, however, deemed her actions to be serious and sentenced her to 2 years in jail.
